  • Development of Wave Propagation Imaging Algorithm.

Project Assigned by: Smart Structure’s Lab, Chonbuk National University, South Korea (2012-2013)

Role: Primary Researcher.

Project Goal: Development and the simulation image processing algorithm. Algorithms are tested for offline mode. For the real-time mode and research outcomes, refer to the next project.


  • Development of Real-time FPGA based Non-destructive Testing System.

Project Assigned by: Smart Structure’s Lab, Chonbuk National University, South Korea (2013-2014)

Role: Primary Researcher.

Project Goal: Following the project assigned above, the developed image processing software were integrated into FPGA. A complete system, data acquisition from Piezo-electric sensors and then inspection of the data in the real-time was developed.

Research outcome: 1 peer reviewed Journal article, 1 peer reviewed conference paper.


  • Damage visualization using Piezo-electric sensors and cross-correlation method.

Project for: Course titled “Structural Health Monitoring”.

Project Goal: This project contributed towards final evaluation of score for the course.
